In making this comic book I hope to show students that math
can have purposes in the real world. I am usually asked at least once a day how
they are going to use what I am teaching them once they graduate. Although this
comic may be a little exaggerated, it will be the beginning of creating word
problems in class based on real life examples.
They play video games all the time so I thought this theme would catch
their attention.
