Comic Book Entry 2

I wanted to create images that looked like real super heroes. I searched for a while to find a software that would let me create my own. After making the characters I decided on just a few panels per page. I wanted the panels to be big enough to show the picture and the readers to understand what was happening.
I was never a comic book reader when I was growing up. I should have known that with technology, what I knew about them had changed. Comic Life 3 is a very cool application. I liked how you could delete and add what you wanted where. I feel like I found out something new about it every time I logged in. I am actually going to keep experimenting with it after this project is due. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to present information to students and draw them in and I never thought about a comic before. Probably because I assumed I would have to draw it myself.

Comic Life 3 was very user friendly so I would have to say the trickiest part of this project was creating my super heroes. After those were made the process was a breeze. My comic is nowhere near professional but I am still learning and hope my next comic will be better.

Comic Book Entry 1

In making this comic book I hope to show students that math can have purposes in the real world. I am usually asked at least once a day how they are going to use what I am teaching them once they graduate. Although this comic may be a little exaggerated, it will be the beginning of creating word problems in class based on real life examples.  They play video games all the time so I thought this theme would catch their attention.
